David Fairs

Advisory Board

David Fairs is Executive Director of Regulatory Policy, Analysis and Advice at the Pensions Regulator.

He was previously a senior Pensions Partner at KPMG LLP and for five years co-led KPMG’s People Powered Performance practice which helped companies and organisations deliver superior business performance through people. He is a former Chairman of the Association of Consulting Actuaries and former Chairman of the Actuaries Club. He was also a Council member of the International Actuarial Association.

Immediately before leaving KPMG, David created and lead KPMG’s trustee board effectiveness service collaborating with psychologists to conduct personality profiles and understand team dynamics to drive superior governance and performance.

David brings a unique business and HR perspective to the ABP Advisory Board.
