Conference Theme: “Doing more with less”
Since the inaugaration of the Conference Team in September, it has been a very productive month and we are very excited to announce that the theme of the 2013 Conference will be “Doing more with less” – reflecting the realities of working in a post-recession era for both us and our clients.
The strap line of “Thinking on the edge” came from a great bit of brainstorming by the Team at the first October Team meeting. It captures everything we wanted to say around what the Conference is all about.
In particular, the spirit and the content of the Conference offering:
- Genuinely leading edge thinking
- Being at the forefront or edge of things
- Challenging boundaries or established ways of thinking
In addition to the theme and strap line, we are very excited to announce that for the first time in 6 years we will be moving to a newer and bigger venue. In doing so, we’ve taken on board that we needed space to grow as a Conference, and feedback of delegates wanting a venue closer to the South.
Hence, we’d like to take this opportunity to say thank you very much and give love to our old home of Wyboston Lakes. We’d also like to say ‘hello’ to our new venue of De Vere Wokefield Park, near Reading. We are very much looking forward to working with you.
