Details of the our first event of the New Year organised by the Manchester group are appended below.   This will again be run as a webinar.

The Theory of Constructed Development focuses on how human beings utilise shortcuts in their thinking in order to construct their Intention, Awareness, Choice and Response in the moment. The greater their awareness of their intention based on the use of multiple Cognitive Intentions, the greater their capacity to respond in the moment.

It is an extremely useful way of cognitively determining our outward behaviour and is used as a framework for ethical coaching.

Darren would like to take this opportunity to discuss with experts in our field how the introduction of the four pillars of Constructed Development Theory mentioned above (IACR) can positively impact psychometric testing, by showing examples and application in organisations.

How aware we are of our construction of self is of vital importance when discussing which roles an individual is capable of performing, yet this is seldom discussed in Business Psychology circles due to the potential for negative feedback. Darren will offer a way through this minefield so the right person can be aligned with the right role from a capacity and capability perspective rather than a personality or trait perspective.

Darren works within academia based at Coventry University and in London and runs his own consultancy.  He will present the findings from his research which looks at how aware we are of our construction of our thinking in the moment, and how at choice we are in our thinking and behaving. He works on how cognitively complex we as humans are capable of thinking, and then takes it one step further to ask: how deliberate is your thinking?

We look forward to welcoming you.
