This 60 minute webinar will provide an introduction to the science of sleep and circadian rhythms.
This presentation coincides with World Sleep Day 2021 www.worldsleepday.org
There will be a specific focus on delivering tangible, evidence-based advice relating to three key areas that attendees can put into practice straight after the webinar to improve their sleep and circadian health. Throughout the webinar Daniel will cover:
- An introduction to sleep and circadian rhythms
- How we sleep throughout evolution
- How hormonal rhythms impact our sleep and wellness
- How light exposure impacts sleep and circadian rhythms
- How food content and timing impacts sleep and circadian rhythms
- How exercise and movement impacts sleep and sleep and circadian rhythms
- Fundamental key steps to support healthy sleep and circadian rhythms
Timing and follow up: the presentation will span 60 minutes with 15 minutes follow up time for Q&A. It will also include complimentary access to two of Daniel’s follow up resources including “Why Light Is Just As Important As Food” + “How to Hack Your Smartphone, PC and Laptop For Better Sleep
Daniel White is a Registered Nutritionist (MSc, ANutr) and Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach (FMCHC) with extensive educational, research and clinical experience in the fields of nutrition, psychology, stress management, sleep science, health education and human behaviour change. In 2020 Daniel founded Sleep Better, Live Better, a platform where he aims to provide effective educational and training programmes, practical resources and evidence-based products that serve the company’s mission – to contribute toward a shift and transformation in the way that the world is sleeping.
Daniel provides corporate sleep and holistic lifestyle education and training programmes, seminars, webinars and coaching that are tailored to suit the needs of each organisation, paying special attention to workplace culture, demographics, goals and budget. He has previously worked with groups such as Healthspan, Credit Suisse, Deloitte, KPMG, Specsavers, Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), Collas Crill, First Central Group and many others.
