This workshop:
• Will help you understand the difference between being and expert and being a consultant.
• It will explain the principle phases of a consulting engagement
• It will demonstrate the value generated at each stage of the consulting process
• It will highlight when to apply your deep expertise and when to temporarily withhold it
• It will illustrate why the rush to solutions and the rush to implementation can hinder rather than help
• It will provide insights onto the skills, mindsets and practical tools that underpin each phase in the consulting relationship
• It will give you the opportunity to practice and receive feedback on the critical initial conversation with prospective clients
• It will explain how contracting with your client is a key element of successful consulting and how the red thread of the contract weaves through the whole relationship
• And it will provide insights into the challenges of building a consulting practice as opposed to becoming a great consultant
After the training you will:
