24 January 2025 at 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm
FreeSpeaker: Sarah Rozenthuler, Chartered Psychologist, Bridgework Consulting Ltd
Summary:
This talk is for leaders, managers, coaches and psychological practitioners seeking to deepen their communication skills, both in personal and professional settings. It is based on the book Now We’re Talking: How to discuss what really matters, which simplifies complex territory with clarity, insight and practical tools.
Sarah Rozenthuler will delve into the power of conversation as a transformative tool. Participants will come away with actionable strategies based on real-life stories and conceptual material. The talk will emphasize the importance of authenticity and emotional connection in conversation as well as ‘reading the room’ and ‘holding space’ in group and team settings.
Whether you are preparing for a difficult conversation at work or seeking to improve your relationships at home, this talk provides the tools to do so with confidence and skill. Meaningful conversations are not just about resolving conflicts or conveying information; they are about creating connections and fostering growth. This humanistic perspective encourages participants to see conversations as opportunities for mutual enrichment, rather than as tasks to be managed or problems to be solved.
