“This book is a guide for life written by two people that I respect and revere. Together, Kate and Helen are the ultimate team – supporting each other with honesty, thoughtfulness, consideration and clarity. Now they are sharing the lessons they have learned for the benefit of all of us. I am so glad they have written this book and I am proud to know them.” — Clare Balding
Helen and Kate Richardson-Walsh need little introduction as they are well known as the couple which inspired the women’s hockey team success in the 2016 Olympics. The accolades have accumulated but what is particularly impressive is their ambassadorial roles and the energy which they devote to getting young and disadvantaged people into sport. One such partnership is with the charity, Access Sport where they both play active roles. Helen was also selected to be an Athlete Role Model for the Youth Olympic Games which took place in Bunoes Aires, Argentina in 2018, representing Team GB, providing workshops, taking part in Q&A session and advising young athletes.
As if any more relevance to the ABP were needed, Helen has completed a degree in psychology with the Open University, and has completed a masters in organisational psychology.
