Following a 10 year career as an Engineer, I began a 15 year career in higher education as a lecturer, later progressing into roles supporting the progression of students into academia and industry, driving widening access agendas and supporting equality, diversity and inclusion charters.
As a Learning and Development Consultant I continue to work with Scottish Universities, Colleges, schools, trade unions, local authorities, Scottish Government and the Scottish Parliament. I develop and deliver training to professionals across organisational structures and departments covering a wide range of Strategic HR, organisational psychology and EDI matters. I support employee learning and growth within organisations and capacity building to improve access to professional advancement opportunities.
I have served as a Board member in the public, private and voluntary sectors, offering counsel on matters of strategy, performance, governance and EDI.
