About
Ben is the lead for Advocacy, under the Engage pillar, for the ABP. The purpose of this role us to champion, defend and promote Business Psychology to the broader business community. He is a long-standing volunteer for the ABP; serving on the Board from 2016-18, Chair of the ABP 2018-2020 and running new member welcome sessions from 2020-2023. He is a Certified Principal Business Psychologist, Chartered Occupational Psychologist and Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society. He has deep expertise in the design of bespoke psychological assessments for recruitment and development; delivering these via the consultancy firm he founded, Sten10. Frequently presenting at conferences to both psychologists and HR professionals; he is keen to find new opportunities to promote psychology’s centrality to good business practice. He keeps up to date on the latest developments in people assessment and provides balanced, digestible summaries to his clients and via his conference presentations. He also shares insights and solves people’s people assessment issues via monthly ‘Agony Uncle’ live audio call sessions on LinkedIn. He welcomes people to get in touch to discuss ways in which we can promote business psychology.
