Supporting Neurodivergent Wellbeing at Work

Organisations are starting to understand more about the neurodivergent employee experience but are yet to focus on neurodivergent wellbeing or fully understand how work experiences may negatively impact their wellbeing.
This session will cover a high-level overview of neurodiversity and deep dive into different ways to support neurodivergent employee’s wellbeing at work including:
- Suitable working environments
- Reasonable adjustments
- Managing job demands
- Considering Job design
This session would be helpful for anyone who would like to better understand how workplaces can impact neurodivergent employees and ways to proactively support their wellbeing.
Biog:
Liz is an ABP certified Business Psychologist and specialises in neurodiversity and workplace wellbeing. Liz started her career in the recruitment industry where she spent 12 years supporting organisations reach their people and talent goals. Her motivation to understand more about workplace wellbeing and how work could impact employees saw her pursue a career change to organisational psychology in 2020.
Liz’s Masters research looked at how women experience an adult ADHD diagnosis and workplace disclosure after she received an ADHD diagnosis when returning to University. She works for neurodiversity specialists Genius Within and NATTC as an associate neurodiversity coach as well running her own business NeuroFlourish which specialises in neurodivergent wellbeing at work.
