Being a member of the Association for Business Psychology brings a host of benefits and applying is simple.
Certified Members To join as a Certified Business Psychologist or Certified Business Principal Business Psychologist member, you should be a person who either manages, is partner in, or employed in, a business providing psychological services to business or the public sector. Alternatively, you may be employed as a Psychologist in a relevant capacity (e.g. in HR) in a business or in the public sector. You will need to undertake the ABP certification process, further details here.
We also offer General membership for non-practitioner who do not yet have this experience or who may be people interested in the application of Business Psychology. You might apply for this type of membership if you are an HR practitioner or Business person who feels a deeper understanding of Business Psychology might benefit you in your work.

Membership fees – General
Annual subscription – £60 plus VAT (£72), if you choose to pay by direct debit (takes out this fee every year not monthly)
Annual subscription – £75 plus VAT (£90) if you choose to pay as a one of invoice.
Additional administration fees. A one-off joining fee of £35 plus VAT (£42)

*This administration fee will also be applied to members whose membership subscriptions have lapsed.
Membership Fees – Students
Annual subscription – £30 plus VAT (£36) if you choose to pay by direct debit (takes out this fee every year not monthy)
Annual subscription – £37.50 + VAT (£45) if you choose to pay as a one off invoice.
Membership is free for one year for students who are registered on an ABP accredited university course.
Students are asked to provide evidence of their course including start/end dates when submitting their application.
