Notice to members: Results of the 2015 AGM

The Thirteenth Annual General Meeting of the ABP was held on Monday 13th July, at The Pavillion, University of Westminster, 115 New Cavendish Street, London.

A notice was circulated to all members asking for nominations to the Board. Ten nominations were received and so an election was required to be held.

The formal election of 7 board members was carried out at the AGM, inline with the articles of the association. The ten nominees were:-

  • Steve Apps (re standing for election)
  • Steve Carter
  • Stewart Desson (re standing for election)
  • Esther English
  • Porteur Keene
  • Funmi Koya
  • Scott Litchenstein
  • David Lurie
  • Antonio Pangallo
  • Lucy Standing

The outcome of the election was announced and those elected to the board for the term 2015-2018 are:

  • Steve Apps
  • Steve Carter
  • Stewart Desson
  • Esther English
  • Funmi Koya
  • Scott Litchenstein
  • Lucy Standing

Of the remaining nominees, Antonio Pangallo was duly co-opted to the board as the ABP board meeting re-convened at 8.45pm. In addition, David Lurie has kindly agreed to become a Special Advisor to the Board supporting our Industry Standards Workstream. Porteur Keene has also agreed to provide ongoing support in broadening our reach across the Industry and with Corporates.

The elected nominees were congratulated. The Management Board would like to thank you for your votes and support of the ABP. We hope to continue to enjoy your support as we pursue our purpose in the years to come.
