A Journey through Change: the Interactive Change Curve with John Fisher and Robin Hills

April 14 at 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Engagement and Motivation Cycle: the Interactive Change Curve

  • Use the opportunity to be part of a discussion about effective change management
  • Learn more about how you can make a positive contribution to change in your work

Organisations don’t change: people do!   So to manage effective change we must identify how people feel about the change, what the impact (and implications) are for them as part of the change.  We should then look at what we can do to engage with them and get them to accompany us on the journey.

This highly interactive session will explore a model for identifying resistance to change and look at the drivers and barriers to people wanting to change.  It will then use the Process of Transition curve and allow attendees to explore where they are on a current change and what they need to do to move into a more positive place.

The speakers:

John Fisher is a Chartered Psychologist, Principal ABP member and developmental coach/trainer.  John has worked in a wide variety of roles and industries and brings a wealth of experience to his practice.  As a constructivist psychologist he is regular presenter at National and International conferences and has published articles on change and two collections of Personal Construct Psychology conference papers.

Robin Hills worked initially within the commercial side of the Pharmaceutical Industry before moving into Business Psychology and career/talent management and advising on career transition.   He has a particular interest in Emotional Intelligence and has been remarkably successful at developing an international training and publishing business based on increasing people’s effectiveness and contributions to organisations.
