He joined the Board to help shape future direction towards a more inclusive and accessible Association, to balance investment with longer-term financial stability, and to learn more about business psychology. He would like to continue his contribution and further shape the direction of the ABP.
As part of the ABP’s continued vision to be the home and voice of Business Psychology, we offer a Certification to recognise people as Business Psychologists. Over the last year, we have been on a journey transitioning our membership categories to align with the certification. This transition process is due to finish on the 31st December 2021. This session is designed to give a potted history of what has happened to date and our plans for the future. It is relevant to you if:
1. You have already been through transition and you are interested in what might be next for you
2. You intend to go through the transition but for whatever reason, you haven’t yet taken the plunge – you are looking for support or a little nudge!
3. You are somewhat flabbergasted by the transition and something is still causing you to resist. You are willing to give us one final chance to convince you of our positive intentions.
4. You joined the ABP in 2021 and wonder what the certification might mean for you
5. You are a student and want to understand more fully how the ABP could be the professional home for you.
6. You have no idea what any of this means and are curious to find out!
We will explain and answer your questions on the past, present and future of the ABP Business Psychology Certification and the Membership Transition.
